What’s included

  • Help with housing applications and tenancy counseling

Help searching for and applying to housing, and tenancy counseling if you’re facing eviction, struggling with rent, or renewing housing assistance — including recertification paperwork, resolving disputes, and connections to free legal aid.

  • Support with accessing rental assistance, temporary housing, or utilities

For members who are homeless or at risk of losing housing, we help you access rental assistance, temporary housing, utility activation, and help with back and ongoing utility bills for up to 6 months.

  • Home safety or accessibility modifications

Grab bars, ramps, widened doorways, accessible bathrooms, non-slip surfaces — physical changes to your home that make it safer. Available for members with mobility limitations or disabilities.

  • Asthma and allergy remediation

For members managing asthma or allergies — home improvements that remove triggers like mold, pests, and poor air quality, plus education for the member and their caregivers.

  • Medical respite care

For members leaving the hospital without a safe place to recover, we connect you to certified Medical Respite programs in NYC that provide short-term residential care.
