Frequently asked questions
We know navigating services can feel overwhelming. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often. Don’t see yours? Just call us.
No. All services are covered through your New York Medicaid plan. You will never receive a bill from us. Medicaid pays us for the services we provide to you — at no cost to you.
No. We do not ask about immigration status, and we don't share that information with anyone. Your Medicaid coverage is between you and your insurance — not us.

Our staff speaks English, Spanish, and other languages common to our service communities. We use interpreter services for all other languages as needed — at absolutely no cost to you.
Most members can complete a screening within 1–2 business days. Services typically begin within 2–4 weeks of completing your Eligibility Assessment.
We help with that too — even if you don't qualify for Enhanced HRSN services. Just call us. No one leaves our office without options.
No. While our Enhanced services require New York Medicaid Managed Care, we can help anyone connect to community programs, food resources, housing assistance, and more — regardless of insurance status.
